My name is Tyler Shearer and I am best reached via email at Tyler.Shearer@sjsu.edu
I'm a mechanical engineering student graduating in Spring 2019 focusing in the HVAC design field.  My interests include sci-fi movies, video games, and riding and working on my motorcycle. Small Scale Track - Tyler - April 10

This week was the start of the 2nd presentation.  The presentations had to be cut short because of the move of the guide way from campus to the 115 Terraine St location.  The remainder of the class was spent purchasing our final materials and setting up reimbursements with Tinan.  We believe we have everything we need ordered.  Also, I found a family friend that can provide access to basic welding equipment!  Hopefully it will be enough for us to complete what we need to.

Small Scale Track - Tyler - February 20

Over the past week I completed the track bender design and pitched the concept to Dr. Furman.  He had suggestions to the design which I implemented and redrew.  I ordered the majority of the parts that we need, but the parts & pieces that are missing from the move have not been ordered yet.  We have a meeting next Wednesday with Professor Muntz to see if we have machine shop access.
